Get to KNOW your core.
This is a special class and a unique opportunity for those who like to go deeply into the work, but can’t afford private sessions.
There will be a maximum of 5 places in this class, and we will take an hour and a half to allow time to work through things and discuss the information.
How do you connect to your core? What does that mean? What muscles are involved, how to we find them, and how can they support us in daily life and activity? Psoas who?
I teach Pilates from the somatic and anatomical learning perspective. This means I am interested in you feeling your body, and gaining a deeper understanding of what the exercises we do are intended for, and how your body can accomplish them. I look for ways to help you find more ease and efficiency in movement while working on stability with mobility.
I highly recommend this class for dancers, and educated movers.

Contact Improvisation Practice – In Berlin.
Sliding scale 5 – 8 Euros to drop in.
Contact Improvisation Practice is a 2 hour class intended as a container for experienced dancers to deepen their practice of improvisation together. With an emphasis on inspiring creativity and curiosity in your dancing, the intention is to facilitate a space where we can step away from the chaos of the jams and find a deeper level of focus and presence in our bodies. Contact dancers with any level of experience are welcome.
We will warm up. We will improvise on our own and improvise together. Each class will follow a theme that allows us to notice our movement patterns, be curious about creativity, and facilitate partnering. Each class will end with a round robin format jam.
